Juan Sebastian Veron may not take lived up to expectations at Manchester United – but he was far from the disastrous bomb that he is frequently painted as.

Veron joined United in a £28.1million bargain from Lazio in 2001, condign the nearly expensive actor in British football history at the time.

Regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, the Argentine'southward arrival in Manchester was understandably met with considerable excitement.
